Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band has announced that the shows currently scheduled for September have been postponed.
“Mr. Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and the decision of his medical advisors is that he should postpone the remainder of his September shows,” the band posted on X, the site formerly known as Twitter.
A show was scheduled for Thursday at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York. Another was scheduled at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sept. 16.
“Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows…We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some. Thank you for your understanding and support,” Springsteen wrote in a statement.
Springsteen previously postponed shows in Philadelphia due to health issues.
“Ticketholders will receive information regarding rescheduled dates for the postponed shows,” the band posted on X.
