Officer Quacy Evelyns, the resource officer at Spring Valley High School, has been welcomed back by hundreds of students after a protest for his return.

Students rallied after noticing his absence at the beginning of the school year.

East Ramapo Superintendent Clarence Ellis announced at a recent board meeting that Evelyns will resume patrols at the high school.
