A 75-foot-long mural celebrating Black History Month will be unveiled on Division Street in Somerville next week.
The artwork is said to be a tribute to African American innovation and pays homage to important figures in history.
"We’ve always made great strides in contributing to building a greater state, a greater nation, a great country and it’s just good to be honored in this way,” says Somerset County Commissioner Director Shanel Robinson.
Somerset County Surrogate Bernice Tina Jalloh says that the mural will also feature Black leaders from the county. The exhibit will be on display through March 5.
