Smoke and hazy conditions in New Jersey have some school districts either closing schools or going remote. The air quality still remains at hazardous levels Thursday.
On Wednesday, school districts kept students indoors. So far, Elizabeth, Orange, Union Township and Newark school districts are closed Thursday. Some districts are giving parents the option or having early dismissal.

Health officials are urging people to stay inside Thursday. Officials have also strongly recommended wearing masks if you must be outside.

Precious Angels Learning Center in Yardville has an early release at 12:30 p.m.
