An aspiring rapper and social media star who allegedly pointed a gun at two people in the parking lot of a QuickCheck in Bayonne on the Fourth of July was arrested last week.

Police say they arrested Richard Sharp, who is known as “Famouss Richard,” at his home on Isabella Avenue on July 12 following an investigation into the incident.

According to police, Sharp pointed the handgun at the victims during an argument in the parking lot at the 22nd Street QuickCheck. He then fled the area in his car.

During the arrest, police say a gun with a large capacity magazine was recovered at Sharp’s house.

After being processed, police say Sharp was taken to the Hudson County Corrections and Rehabilitation Center.
