A car crash left a skateboarder dead Wednesday night in Hamilton, according to police.

Authorities say the 31-year-old man was struck on South Olden Avenue and Estates Boulevard.

Police say darkness and the man’s lack of reflective clothing played a role in the incident.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
