The Passaic County Sheriff's Department believes it has found the body of 21-year-old Juan Mendez, the main suspect in his niece's murder.
Authorities say divers found Mendez's body Friday in the Passaic River. Mendez allegedly killed 3-year-old Janiay Rievas, whose body was found in the same river last Saturday.
Janiay was last seen alive with Mendez, who abandoned his car on a bridge above the river, police say. Janiay's funeral service was held Friday.
