As her name implies, Honey is one of the sweetest dogs that volunteers at Rescue Ridge Animal Shelter in Howell have ever met, and she's ready for her "furever" home.

Honey is around 4 years old, according to volunteers at the shelter, who say she "loves everyone she meets."

"She has a fabulous temperament and would be a great companion or family dog," according to her bio on the Rescue Ridge website.

While she loves playing and going for walks, Honey's favorite activity is relaxing while curling up next to her human companion.

Workers at the shelter say she's also well behaved, does well riding in cars, is great with children and appears to be dog friendly as well.

Honey is up-to-date with her vaccinations and knows some basic commands.

Anyone interested in meeting and possibly adopting Honey can go to the Rescue Ridge website for more information.
