Police say search efforts are underway in Hopatcong for a missing woman with dementia.
Dian Backman, 66, was last seen around 1 p.m. Sunday when she left her home in a red Honda CRV with license plate HV7285.
She is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing blue pants, a white blouse with blue flowers and a white button-down sweater. She also wore multiple necklaces.
Officials say she may be wearing a leg brace and walking with a limp.
Backman could be headed to former residences or familiar places, including addresses in Morris Plains, Flanders and Landing.
