The luxury department store chain Saks is scaling back operations in New Jersey with the closure of several Off 5th locations across the state.

The company says it is closing nearly 60 Saks Off 5th stores nationwide, including three New Jersey locations in Elizabeth, Bridgewater and Shrewsbury.

The Saks Off 5th store at Bergen Town Center will remain open.

Saks says it is starting a website sale today as part of the changes.

The company says brick-and-mortar stores scheduled to close will begin selling off inventory tomorrow.
