Severe weather along the coast sent a sailboat adrift from the Keyport Yacht Marina Saturday afternoon.
The boat floated about a 1,000 yards away in the Raritan Bay before it was rescued by a club member who owns a tugboat company.
It was the third time in recent days that a sailboat went adrift from the club.
The commodore says it's not an unusual occurrence, especially during times of sustained winds.
