Rutgers University police are investigating multiple incidents as classes begin tomorrow.

A robbery occurred early yesterday morning at Union and Hamilton Streets in New Brunswick. The victim, not affiliated with Rutgers, reported that multiple suspects approached and stole an item of value after a physical altercation.

Additionally, a car theft was reported on the Livingston Campus in Piscataway. The victim, affiliated with Rutgers, had their car stolen between 8 p.m. Friday and 3 a.m. Saturday. Piscataway police later recovered the vehicle.

These incidents highlight safety concerns as students return to campus.
