Rutgers football will honor the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks by wearing special commemorative uniforms during Friday's game against Boston College.

The Scarlet Knights' special white helmets feature a bold American flag-themed number "37" on the side.
The uniforms also include the phrase "Never Forget" on the back of the helmets and down the pant leg.
Rutgers announced the tribute ahead of Friday's road game at Boston College.
