New Jersey Devils fans have another reason to celebrate ahead of the NHL season, with a new beer hitting shelves this week.

Toms River Brewing is continuing its partnership with the Devils by debuting a new fan-selected beer called Slap Shot.

For the first time, the Devils' official NHL logo will appear on the can. The beer will be available at Prudential Center, bars and stores across New Jersey.

"We're a small brewery here in Toms River, craft brewery, and having a partnership with a big organization like the Devils is huge. Great for local business. Puts a big spotlight on us, puts a big spotlight on Toms River," said Hopper McGrath, vice president of sales for Toms River Brewing.

Slap Shot is a 4.2% American lager.

"This year it's going to be a 4.2% full American Lager so just easy drinking, clean made for hockey season," said Chris Klodowski, head brewer at Toms River Brewing.

The Devils play their first game Oct. 1.
