Rutgers will take on Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl Thursday afternoon at Yankee Stadium, the third time the Scarlet Knights are participating in the bowl game.
"There's a lot of really fine programs that are not playing in the postseason, so we don't ever take it for granted," said Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano. "At Rutgers our goal was, first off, to get it back to where this is an annual event where we're going to bowl games every year. Then, hopefully, you're playing for championships every year. That's the plan."
Kickoff for the Pinstripe Bowl is set for 2:15 p.m.
