Rutgers University police are investigating a report of criminal sexual contact involving a Rutgers-affiliated person aboard a crowded campus bus the morning of Halloween.

The incident was reported to have occurred around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 31 on a bus traveling between the College Avenue and Livingston campuses in New Brunswick, according to university police.

Police said the person reported that an unknown man repeatedly touched their body without consent before exiting the bus. The person reported no physical injuries.

The suspect was described as a white male between 17 and 23 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a medium build, short black hair, facial hair and a scar above his left eye.

He was reportedly wearing blue jeans, an open plaid button-down shirt over a red Spider-Man shirt, a black jacket and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rutgers University Police Department.
