2h agoThis morning, Route 53 southbound in Denville remains closed after a water break under an I-80 overpass at 3 a.m. Monday morning, according to the NJ DOT.
The northbound lanes of Route 53 are back open.
There are still detours in place on the Route 46 eastbound ramp to Route 53 south.
The water main has been repaired, but crews still need to patch and pave the road. There is no expected timeline for completion.
