Traffic is mostly moving smoothly again after a water main break near Route 4 in Paramus caused some issues.
Officials say that a 16-inch water main broke near Route 4 and Paramus Road. It happened around noon on Thursday.
Crews with Veolia Water are working on repairs.
Photos from the scene showed that Route 4 westbound was flooded for a time after the break. Only two lanes were getting by, but the roadway is now fully reopened.
The ramp leading to Paramus Road is closed while repairs are being made.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area and allow for some extra time.
