Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Mikie Sherrill will run for New Jersey governor in November

Ciattarelli had the endorsement from President Donald Trump, while Sherrill has been a vocal critic of President Trump.

Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Mikie Sherrill have five months to convince New Jersey residents to vote for them for governor in November.

Ciattarelli had the endorsement from President Donald Trump. Ciattarelli is a former state lawmaker and small businessman. And he won all 21 counties. He's been trying to become governor for about 10 years now.

Sherrill has been a vocal critic of President Trump. She's a current representative for New Jersey's 11th Congressional District, a former Navy pilot and former prosecutor.
