While the Easter Bunny may struggle to go door-to-door this year, a Red Bank chocolate maker is doing her part to step in.
Amy Berry Healy owns
Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe. While she has had to lay off four employees due to the pandemic, she says that she is still hard at work to help her community. She is donating chocolate to health care workers at local hospitals.
“We need to be there for them as they have been there for us for so many years,” she says.
Berry Healy says that she is also offering free Easter chocolate deliveries with the hope that it will make families feel a sense of normalcy during the crisis.
“Giving the kids a normal life on that day of Easter. They’re going to get that chocolate. They’re going to get the Jelly Beans,” she says.
Berry Healy says that she can ship her chocolate anywhere in the country and overseas.
