Two thieves posing as United Water workers hit three Bergen County towns in three hours Monday.
Police say the suspects made robbery attempts in Paramus, Rochelle Park and Washington Township. The suspects were only able to successfully rob one victim.
The duo would allegedly pose as utility workers and knock on the doors of seniors, saying they need to be let inside immediately. Police are advising residents to ask for identification before letting any utility workers into their homes.
