A fast-moving thunderstorm left damage, flooding and power outages in its wake across New Jersey.
The storms contained heavy rain, thunder, lightning and some hail – and caused trees and utility poles to come crashing down.
New Jersey’s utility companies reported at least 4,000 customers without power Friday night.
One tree fell on to an abandoned house in Morris Plains. No one was injured.
The storms mostly cleared out by late Friday night.
Meteorologists say that this weekend should see dry, mild weather.
