A former Nutley woman known as "Tan Mom" says she ready to ‘live life to the fullest’ after being in a medically induced coma.
Patricia Krentcil, 51, says she’s getting better every day, in an interview with Us Weekly.
Krentcil suffered complications from pneumonia, and is thanking her fans for all the well wishes.
She recently relocated to Florida from Nutley to work on her music career.
Krentcil made headlines back in 2012 when she was accused of taking her then-5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth. Investigators said the incident resulted in severe burns on the child’s body.
Krentcil was charged with child endangerment and pleaded not guilty. She was never indicted, but gained fame due to her own extremely tan skin.
Krentcil went on to become somewhat of a “reality TV star” and released several songs and music videos.
