Students at PS/MS 31 showed their New York Knicks pride Thursday by gathering for a schoolwide watch party before taking part in their own celebratory parade.

School hallways were decorated in blue and orange as students, teachers and staff came together to cheer on their hometown team. The event featured Knicks-themed decorations, spirited chants and plenty of team pride.

As excitement surrounding the Knicks continues across New York City, school leaders said the celebration gave students an opportunity to connect with one another and share in a moment that has energized fans throughout the city.

Organizers said events like the watch party and parade help build a sense of community while creating lasting memories for students.
