A Monmouth County man has been arrested for fatally shooting a person in Howell last Thursday, according to prosecutors.

Authorities say Rolando Acte Mejia was found dead inside a car on White Street.

Juan Jesus Mejia Yanza, 33, was later charged with his murder.

He is currently in a Monmouth County jail awaiting a hearing.
