Prosecutors say a man charged in the stabbing death of a co-worker stalked her for weeks before her death.
According to prosecutors, Kenneth Saal, 30, has been charged with killing his co-worker, Carolyn Byington, 26, at her Plainsboro apartment back on June 10. Authorities have said she suffered multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
Police went there after her colleagues at a marketing firm in Princeton became concerned when she didn't return to work after lunch.
Neighbors say they heard faint screams coming from the apartment on the day Byington was killed.
Police say location records on Saal’s phone show he was outside her apartment in the days leading up to her murder.
Saal faces life in prison.
