Prosecutors say a man pretended to be a licensed dentist and sexually assaulted a woman who made an appointment with him this week in Fairfield.

The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office says Jonathan Colombo, of Orange Township, used Instagram to advertise veneer services at a discounted rate.

The victim made an appointment for Monday after communicating with him and agreeing to a price over social media.

Authorities say she reported being sexually assaulted following the procedure at Colombo’s office on Route 46.

Fairfield police arrested him on Tuesday for allegedly practicing dentistry without a license.
