The Union County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a teen was fatally shot over the weekend in Union Township, and authorities are looking for the shooter.

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a teen was fatally shot over the weekend in Union Township, and authorities are looking for the shooter.
The shooting happened early Sunday morning as police responded to a residence on the 2100 block of Melrose Parkway.
According to the preliminary investigation, police found 19-year-old Malikah Taylor unresponsive, having sustained serious injury.
Authorities say Taylor was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 8 a.m.
