The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office says a 19-year-old was killed Wednesday night in a motor vehicle crash on Easton Avenue, near Oakland Avenue in Franklin Township.

Police received a 911 call around 8:59 p.m. reporting a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

According to officials, the victim, Franklin Township resident, Nelisson Delarosa-Peralta, was rushed to the hospital, but due to the extent of the injuries sustained, was pronounced deceased at 9:36 p.m.

What led to the accident is unknown at this time. The initial investigation revealed the male motorcyclist was travelling northbound on Easton Avenue when he crashed into a Toyota Camry that was making a left onto Easton Avenue.
