A pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Jersey City, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office says.

The crash happened Monday around midnight in the area of Newark Avenue and Coles Street. Authorities say that a 35-year-old man was injured in the crash.

The vehicle that struck him did not stop. A description of the vehicle was not provided

Officials say that the man is in critical, but stable condition.
