Prosecutor: Man injured in triple shooting in Elizabeth dies

Authorities say that 28-year-old Guerley Edouard, of Roselle, was one of three people shot while inside a vehicle Monday evening.

A man injured in a triple shooting in Elizabeth Monday evening has died, according to the Union County Prosecutor’s office.
Authorities say that 28-year-old Guerley Edouard, of Roselle, was one of three people shot while inside a vehicle on the 600 block of Salem Avenue around 8:30 p.m. A 23-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were also shot.
Officials say that Edouard was taken to Trinitas Hospital and was pronounced dead. The other two victims were taken to University Hospital and were listed in stable condition.
The person or persons suspected in this shooting remain on the loose. Police say that a black sedan was seen leaving the area after the shooting, according to witnesses.
