Prosecutor: Man charged with murder for fatally stabbing woman, 2 children in Jersey City
Napoleon Romero-Anduray, 31, was charged with three counts of murder related to this crime, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is trying to figure out what led to a triple stabbing in Jersey City that left a mother and her two children dead.
Officials say they found the victims inside a first-floor apartment at a complex along the 200 block of Hutton Street.
The window to that apartment, which sits along the sidewalk, was broken. Police covered that window with a white sheet after responding to the scene around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.
The victims were identified as 31-year-old Luisa Urbano, her 9-year-old son Juan Martin Urbano and her 5-year-old daughter Diana Ramirez.
Neighbor Jay Perine told News 12 that he heard the screaming.
“That kind of got everyone up and out to find out what was going on," said Perine. "The police pulled up, went inside to make contact. I kind of pieced it together and I was hoping that it wasn’t the kids."
Authorities say they also found a man inside with a self-inflicted stab wound. He was identified as 31-year-old Napoleon Romero-Anduray. He was later taken into custody and charged with three counts of murder, along with other charges.
Perrine, who knows the family, says that Romero-Anduray is the father of one of the children.
“I don’t know what the dispute was about but all indications were they were a happy family. They went out, they partied in the summertime, they cooked out, there was music. He got up, worked every day," he said. I think he realized what he did. The whole goal was to hurt them and then hurt himself, right."
Romero-Anduray is being treated at Jersey City Medical Center for his injuries.
