An Asbury Park man has been charged in a double stabbing outside Asbury Park High School.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says that 20-year-old Jadon Carter was charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
The prosecutor says that Asbury Park police responded to reports of a fight outside of the high school Tuesday just after 3:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old and 18-year-old with stab wounds.
Authorities say that Carter was found at the scene and placed under arrest.
The two victims remain in the hospital, according to the prosecutor.
Carter could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted on the charges.
