Prosecutor: Authorities investigate deadly shooting in Jersey City

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that happened in Jersey City, just blocks away from the scene of a deadly attack at a Jewish grocery store one year ago.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting that happened in Jersey City, just blocks away from the scene of a deadly attack at a Jewish grocery store one year ago.
The prosecutor says that a 35-year-old man was shot and killed around 4:15 p.m. on MLK Drive and Myrtle Avenue. A second man was also injured but is expected to be OK.
Authorities did not release any more details about the shooting but said that more information will be released soon.
News 12 New Jersey crews were near the shooting while covering the one-year anniversary of the attack that killed a Jersey City police detective and three people at a Jewish grocery store.
