The Hudson County Regional Arson Regional Task Force is investigating a house fire that left a 26-year-old woman critically injured.

The Hudson County Regional Arson Regional Task Force is investigating a house fire that left a 26-year-old woman critically injured.
The county prosecutor’s office says the initial investigation determined that the fire at 67 70th Street in Guttenberg was contained to the first floor of the multifamily house. The fire started around 6:15 p.m. Monday.
People living on the second floor of the home were forced to jump from the windows to escape.
Firefighters found the 26-year-old woman unconscious on the first floor. She was taken to Palisades Medical Center and then transferred to St. Barnabas Medical Center for treatment. Officials say she remains in critical condition.
