Prosecutor: 61-year-old man dies in Jersey City high-rise fire

The fire started just before 5 a.m. Thursday at the building located at 270 Marin Blvd.

A 61-year-old man was found dead following a fire at a Jersey City high-rise building, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s office.
The fire started just before 5 a.m. Thursday at the building located at 270 Marin Blvd.
Ramon Abello was found unconscious in an apartment on the 12th floor of the building. He was pronounced dead around 6:45 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
