Two Middlesex County women were charged with voter fraud in separate incidents, according to the county prosecutor.
Lori Mulligan, of Parlin, is accused of voting by mail using the name of a dead family member.
Katherine Fokas, of Monroe, allegedly tried to apply for a mail-in ballot using a dead relative’s name.
Officials say the investigations began with a tip from the Middlesex County Board of Elections.
Officials did not state the political affiliations – if any – of the two women.
