Power outages in the Garden State have seen a big drop since Friday night.
The outages occurred when a storm brought down trees and power lines on Wednesday.
As of 5 a.m. Saturday, about 209 customers Jersey Central Power & Light and about 3,500 Public Service Electric & Gas were still without power. Atlantic City Electric only reported seven households with power outages.
PSE&G offered ice and water at comfort stations in Camden and Burlington counties. They estimate that some customers may face another day without power.
Executive Director of Customer Operations of PSE&G Fred Daum says trees that were weakened can still fall down days after the storm.
The company says they brought in 1,000 extra workers from states as far away as Wisconsin to repair the damage.
