Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill and Republican Jack Ciattarelli were both in studio to speak with News 12 about their campaigns for New Jersey governor.

Ciattarelli ran against Gov. Phil Murphy back in 2021. He came up short by three points. This time around, he has a presidential endorsement.

Sherrill built her campaign around her personal story — a Naval Academy graduate who flew choppers for the Navy, Sherrill went on to work as a federal prosecutor in New Jersey before being elected to Congress in 2018.

They discussed everything from school funding to sky-high energy costs.
