It's been about a week since many towns across New Jersey started announcing plans for pothole repair.
The frigid and snowy weather this winter has been tough for roads across the state.
Many drivers have reported tire and wheel damage from hitting large potholes.
Jersey City was among the cities to announce that pothole repair crews were going to work. The city has one crew for each of its six wards and a roving crew.
Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop says the city is following an "aggressive, inter-agency pothole plan" that will triple the number of crews fixing potholes around the city and utilize technology to map the locations of potholes.
To report a pothole, residents should call the RRC at 201-547-4900 or visit the city website at www.jerseycitynj.gov
