The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced the winners of their annual art contest.
Over 350 posters were submitted by students in the Jersey City School District. They were on display Tuesday at the PATH station in Journal Square.
Artwork from the top winners will be featured in the 13 train stations between New Jersey and New York.
“It was a tough thing [choosing a winner] this year,” says Port Authority general manager Mike Marino. “The artwork was just fantastic.”
This year’s winners are third-grader Cora Kerr, kindergartener Skyler-Jean Woomer and eighth-grader Renfrew Maristela.
