A New York grand jury has voted to indict former President Donald Trump on charges involving payments made during the 2016 presidential campaign to silence claims of an extramarital sexual encounter.
It is the first time a president or former president has been indicted on criminal charges.
News 12 spoke with Professor Alain Sanders about the historic decision.
