A 43-year-old woman is facing a slew of charges after police say she was arrested for an incident at a Wildwood Crest motel and later bit an officer’s hand.
Authorities say officers responded to a fight reported at the motel on Ocean Avenue on June 17. Witnesses at the scene informed them that a woman was highly intoxicated and “out of control in the pool."
Officers then learned that the woman, identified as Fallan Turner, dunked a 10-year-old boy under the water. When the boy’s father tried to intervene, police say she “jumped on his back and grabbed him inappropriately."
Authorities say Turner became belligerent and resisted arrest after officers tried to speak to her. She was then taken to police headquarters, where authorities say she continued to be uncooperative and also bit an officer’s hand.
Police say some of the charges against Turner include child endangerment, assault on law enforcement, criminal sexual contact and harassment.
