A woman in her 60s who was attacked in her Levittown home in June has died from her injuries sustained in the attack, police say.

Linda Levy died last week and was laid to rest on Tuesday.

She was assaulted while sleeping in her home with an unknown object by an unknown person, authorities said.

Linda, who also went by Lindsey, was a beloved neighbor to Marcia Doobay.

Doobay said Linda was a retired lawyer who had a “good heart.”

She said when she and her family moved there, Linda was the first neighbor to reach out to them.

There has not been an arrest in connection with the attack. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
