Police: Up to 300 people attend ‘for profit’ pool party; no masks or social distancing

Police say a homeowner in Gloucester Township received several citations for holding a “for profit" pool party, where officers estimated between 250 to 300 people to be in attendance.

Police say a homeowner in Gloucester Township received several citations for holding a “for profit" pool party, where officers estimated between 250 to 300 people to be in attendance.

The incident happened Sunday when officers responded to the area of 1580 Jarvis Road in the Sicklerville section of town for several calls related to a large party.

According to police, security on site told police it was a family party. None of the attendees were wearing masks or social distancing. They were charged between $100 to $150 admission fee to enter.
The homeowner, Lionel Mincey, was issued citations for noise violation and maintaining a nuisance, among others. A total of 25 parking summons were issued, and five motor vehicle stops were conducted.
