Police: Trenton man accused of stabbing and using pit bull to attack victim

Police say that the two men knew each other and the attack occurred during an argument.

A man was charged for allegedly stabbing a man while walking his dog.
Trenton police say Kwadwo Veh Asare, 30, was walking his pit bull on July 23 when he encountered the victim and got into an argument. Police say the two men knew each other.
Asare allegedly set his dog loose on the man and then stabbed the man in the abdomen.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition was not currently known.
Asare was found nearby and taken into custody. He was charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. Police say he also had several active warrants out for his arrest in different incidents.
