Wayne police say that tips from the public helped them apprehend a “career burglar” mostly recently wanted for allegedly burglarizing a home in Wayne.
Samuel Krosky, 57, faces several charges including burglary and theft.
Wayne police released surveillance photos of a man believed to be Krosky earlier this week prior to a break-in at a home on Webster Drive.
Those photos aired on News 12 New Jersey and other media outlets, and police say that tips came pouring in after the segments aired.
Krosky is currently on parole from previous convictions for committing burglary, according to police. Authorities say that he has been arrested 39 times and has 28 felony convictions for theft or burglary.
Krosky was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Newark.
