A man in Bridgeton is accused of fatally shooting a 17-year-old boy early Sunday morning.

Police say Iban Perez, 21, is now facing murder charges after he killed the teen and injured a 17-year-old girl a little after midnight on North Pearl Street.

Police say the boy was pronounced dead on the scene. The girl was air-lifted to Cooper University Hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
