Police are increasing patrols at synagogues across Connecticut in response to Thursday's attack at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.

Temple Sholom of Greenwich says officers have promised more patrols in its parking lot, even though there are no known threats. Temple officials say the security team remains vigilant.

““Our hearts are with those affected in Michigan,” the temple said in a statement.
