Police are searching for the man they say broke into a home in Upper Montclair.
They say it happened on Oct. 22 around 1:30 p.m.
Authorities say the suspect broke into the home and confronted the person inside before fleeing on foot toward the NJ Transit railroad tracks.
The suspect is described as a tall, black male. He was wearing a mask, which covered the lower portion of his face, a black-hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
